About the photographer

My name is Samantha.
I am 21 years old and currently in my 3rd year of college working towards my BA in Photography.
I currently work for my schools newspaper as a sports photographer and graphic designer for advertisements.
My ultimate goal is to work for ESPN Magazine.
I own a Nikon D7000 and it suits all my digital needs.
My favorite camera to use is a Rolliecord IV TLR. I am in love with medium format. 98% of the cameras I own are film.
Film is my go to format to photograph. I still do all my own developing and printing.
Currently living in Montana, but I have lived all around the world.
Born in Germany and originally a German citizen, and I do speak German, thanks to my parents being in the United States Air Force. Other places I have lived inclued, Southern Georgia, Ohio. Terciera Ilha, Azores, Italy.
I enjoy photographing things that people would just walk on by, I find beauty in some of the most strangest things.
I get my biggest support from my parents&brother, my boyfriend Patrick and my best friend Megan. They have been with me since I started photography as my degree and career and without them, I would not be where I am today.
